A Note From Alicia;
As a Holistic Nutritionist it is my passion to inspire, encourage, and support others on their journey to discover and obtain their most vibrant health and wellness. I believe the key to vibrant health and wellness, through holistic living, is addressing ones lifestyle as a WHOLE, from interactions with others, your surroundings, yourself, as well as how you sleep, exercise, and what you eat. My goal is to educate, motivate, and empower, my clients to become aware and in control of their overall health and wellbeing.
My approach is about getting you to living at your optimum level of wellness. I do not follow or promote new fads or short term, quick fixes, I believe that getting back to basics with a whole foods plant based approach works best for getting the body to good health. Working together with my clients we get to the root cause of the concerning issues to create good health and wellbeing with flexible, rewarding, and most importantly realistic achievable nutrition and lifestyle changes.
When working with my clients, I’m not only interested in the science of nutrition but more importantly, the WHOLE picture, your entire background, exercise, digestion, current lifestyle, and history with food on a physical, mental, social, and emotional level. There are many factors in one’s life that determine our food choices, health, wellness, and behavior. I work together with my clients to bring awareness to these factors and provide nutrition and wellness guidance that reflects their current needs and goals.
Because I do not believe there is one quick fix for all, my approach to each client is different as each person has their own individualized food and lifestyle needs. This approach is called Bio-individuality. Using this approach allows for my clients to be involved in the discovery of exactly what it is they need to reach their desired health and wellness goals. Over the years I have found this approach helps my clients develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for them. This discovery empowers them to implement lasting changes that improve energy, balance, health, and overall wellbeing.
My education, BA in Behavioral Psychology, Certified Holistic Health Counselor, Holistic Health Practitioner, Raw Food Instructor, and currently working on a masters in Clinical Nutrition, and experience has equipped me with extensive knowledge in plant based nutrition, health and wellness coaching, counseling, and holistic health management. Drawing on my skills, experience, and knowledge, allows me to work with each of my clients, one on one, to help them make, individualized, lifestyle changes that work for them and produces real and lasting results.
